Inspired by French artist Jean-Léon Gérôme's painting of the same title, "The Truth Coming Out of Her Well to Shame Mankind" discusses the emotional reactions triggered by the revelation of the truth and the artists' personal responses to the unexpected changes in their lives. Thomas Fung tells stories through landscape and cinematic paintings. His works are metaphors of today's society and culture. Harrison Wong's conceptual practice merges contemporary installation with poetry, expressing his streams of consciousness through verbal and visual constructions.
